We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room Department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, providing the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including setting up and maintaining sterile fields.
- Participate in sponge, needle, and instrument counts to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Transport laboratory, surgical instruments, and supplies as needed.
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent experience.
- Surgical Technician Certification preferred.
- BLS Certification.
