Job Overview

At SP+, we're driven by our promise to make every moment matter for a world on the go. As a Shuttle Driver DOT, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our passengers arrive at their destinations safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate shuttle buses in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all DOT regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering directions to ensure a seamless transportation experience.
  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and fuel buses as needed.
  • Log trip counts and assist disabled passengers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Be punctual and presentable, wearing the required uniform at all times.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain an acceptable DMV record.
  • Report any incidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate with the garage office regarding debris, water, or oil spills.
  • Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary, if authorized.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist customers.
  • Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable.
  • Support the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement.
  • A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
  • Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if required.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other employees.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic arithmetic operations.
