Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curriculum changes to meet industry standards and accreditation requirements
  • Collaborate with employer advisory teams and local businesses to ensure curriculum relevance
  • Provide guidance and support to students in areas such as work behavior, training, and study habits
  • Assist counselors and supervisors in resolving student training issues
  • Exemplify professionalism and good work habits, and promote a positive learning environment
  • Monitor budget and control expenses related to equipment and supplies
Requirements
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience and completion of a formal apprenticeship program
  • Current Utah Journeyman Electrician License
  • Preference given to those with teaching experience
  • Familiarity with word processing, email, and Windows-based personal computers
  • Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds
Working Conditions

This position requires working Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $35.00.
