The Aquatic Safety Officer will report directly to the Aquatics Director at the Jewish Community Center Of Dallas, ensuring compliance with American Red Cross lifeguarding protocols. This part-time position entails a maximum of 29 hours per week, with weekend shifts required and no benefits provided. The organization is an equal opportunity employer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guarantee safety within the pool environment and adhere to established safety procedures.
- Uphold pool regulations and exhibit professionalism towards patrons and fellow staff members.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the aquatic area.
- Monitor and document pool conditions, reporting any maintenance requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in alignment with JCC policies.
- Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by the Aquatics Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification in Lifeguarding/CPR/First Aid/AED from the American Red Cross.
- Prior experience in lifeguarding is preferred.
