Aquatic Safety Officer at Jewish Community Center Of Dallas

The Aquatic Safety Officer will report directly to the Aquatics Director at the Jewish Community Center Of Dallas, ensuring compliance with American Red Cross lifeguarding protocols. This part-time position entails a maximum of 29 hours per week, with weekend shifts required and no benefits provided. The organization is an equal opportunity employer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guarantee safety within the pool environment and adhere to established safety procedures.
  • Uphold pool regulations and exhibit professionalism towards patrons and fellow staff members.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the aquatic area.
  • Monitor and document pool conditions, reporting any maintenance requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in alignment with JCC policies.
  • Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by the Aquatics Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in Lifeguarding/CPR/First Aid/AED from the American Red Cross.
  • Prior experience in lifeguarding is preferred.
