Job Title: Church Facilities Coordinator
Company Overview: Pearl Street United Methodist Church is a dynamic community of believers seeking to serve the Lord and our neighbors. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Church Facilities Coordinator.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description:
- Clean kitchen and bathrooms: wash and/or vacuum floors monthly or as needed; clean toilets and sinks weekly.
- Shovel stairs and walkways and perform other duties related to inclement weather. The church contracts with an outside company to plow the parking lots.
- Attend trustee meetings when invited by the trustee chair or the pastor.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the trustees and/or pastor.
- Clean sanctuary, fellowship hall, common room behind the sanctuary, and hallway.
- Clean windows on an agreed-upon schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to send and respond promptly to texts and/or emails.
- Ability to keep a regular schedule as negotiated and agreed upon.
- In case of inclement weather, the facility's opening on Sunday will be decided on Saturday evening. If so, they must be available at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday to clear entrances and other times as needed throughout the week.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring full mobility and flexibility in building and grounds activities.
- The church is a smoke, alcohol, and drug-free environment.
