Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive - New Business. The ideal candidate will possess a consultative approach in understanding client needs and be able to take a proactive role in new business development through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and execute sales calls to potential new customers through cold calling, prospecting, and referrals from current customers.
- Conduct sales presentations to businesses, organizations, and individuals in the Kansas City area.
- Attain individual and department sales goals as set by the Manager, New Business Development.
- Manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, contacts, and appointments.
- Generate new group and season sales through area businesses and organizations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of prospecting and sales activity.
- Visit prospects and customers during home games.
- Minimum of 175 calls per week.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Proven ability to meet goals and work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office products and ability to learn and master new software programs.
- Ability to travel around the stadium visiting clients during home games.
- Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a seated position for the majority of the workday.
- Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone.
- Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
- Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
Benefits: This role is a Full-Time, Exempt opportunity that is eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. This role is expected to have a standard 40-hour work week.
