Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Category Insights Manager to join our PFNA Insights team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end insights to drive commercial impact across our Sector, Customer Leadership Organization, and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the Warehouse Sales team to provide shopper/category/competitive insights on total business and priority customers, identifying areas of opportunity and growth.
- Collaborate with Sales Strategy to develop and deliver business trends analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations to support AOP/JBP processes.
- Leverage multiple data sources to gain a deep understanding of category and brand dynamics, shopper behavior, and identify opportunities across products, geographies, cohorts, and occasions.
- Lead comprehensive, ongoing assessment of innovation performance, providing granular insights on awareness, incrementality, trial, and productivity.
- Develop recommendations and provide thought leadership on gold standard planograms for the PFNA Warehouse business.
- Develop omni-channel reporting to enhance decision-making and incorporate new data sources to deliver best-in-class analytical reporting for executive teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA a plus.
- 3+ years in Category Management or Shopper/Consumer Insights within the Consumer-Packaged Goods or Retail industry.
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and thought leadership skills.
- Strong planning/organizing skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- High learning agility and curiosity, with an innovative mindset to think creatively on solutions development and problem-solving.
- Advanced expertise with syndicated data sets (POS, Panel, Customer Loyalty Data) and high facility working with large data sets.
- Passion for illuminating data, shopper understanding, and driving commercial impact from shopper understanding.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with customers and key stakeholders.
- Collaboration is essential, as this role will work closely with account sales leads, cross-functional teams, and the retailer directly.
- Must be willing and able to travel 10-20% of the time.
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
