Regional Technical Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Technical Specialist to join our team at Lane Enterprises Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to work with our sales team, engineers, and customers to develop and promote our products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Work with sales representatives to improve their technical knowledge of our products and provide guidance on successful methods for promoting them.
* Collaborate with engineers and agencies to expand the usage criteria for our drainage products.
* Instruct contractors on proper methods of product installation and measures required to correct faulty installation.
* Identify new business opportunities for Lane Enterprises and applications for our current products.
* Evaluate potential new products for compatibility with our current products and manufacturing capabilities.
* Lead the process for approvals and submission of alternatives for inclusion of our products in project applications and with engineering design firms.
* Participate in the planning and presentation at sales meetings.
* Identify the need for and support the development of brochures and other materials that promote our products or product applications.
* Assist in identifying potential new sales representatives and regional engineers.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
* Previous civil engineering and stormwater experience.
* Professional Engineer (PE) or engineer in training (EIT) a plus.
* 3+ years' experience in a related field or sales.
Skills and Abilities:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient with MS Office Suite or related software.
