Spherion is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide first-tier technical support for internal users.

In this role, you will respond to phone calls and online tickets, resolving personal computing device issues and requests in a timely manner.

You will work closely with your team to implement solutions and ensure all employees have the technology they need to perform their jobs effectively.

This position operates under close supervision and follows pre-established procedures to maintain a functional work environment.

This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-tier technical support by addressing computing device issues and requests
  • Respond to support requests via phone and online ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
  • Document and track issues, resolutions, and escalations as needed
  • Assist with other IT-related tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Experience providing technical support in a help desk or IT role
  • Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software (Microsoft Office)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems for managing support requests
  • Must reside in the Killeen/Temple area
