The Senior Communications Manager will oversee internal and external corporate communications, ensuring messaging is effective, engaging, and consistent with our brand and values.
This role will collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, HR, Safety, and leadership to develop and execute communication strategies for various stakeholders, including media, customers, community, and employees.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of communications and PR best practices, as well as a passion for building relationships and working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal and external communication plans to strengthen customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Support media relations, coordinating with media agency partners and press contacts
- Write press releases and corporate announcements
- Liaise between leadership, HR, Safety, and Marketing on internal communications
- Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
- Develop and deliver media training sessions for employees
- Track and analyze internal communication metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
- 7 years of communications experience, with at least 2 years in a PR role
- 3 years of experience in an internal corporate communications role
- Demonstrated proficiency in copywriting, editing, and proofreading
- Exceptional planning and project management skills
