Wellness Reception Specialist Job Overview

Cascada PDX is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Wellness Reception Specialist to be the first point of contact for our esteemed members and guests. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring seamless operations at our wellness center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Engage: Warmly welcome clients and members, providing a smooth introduction to our comprehensive wellness services.
  • Appointment Management: Accurately schedule spa treatments, fitness sessions, and thermal experiences using our advanced booking system.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle payments, including cash, credit, and gift certificates, in accordance with our financial protocols.
  • Service Information: Offer detailed insights into our wellness offerings, pricing structures, promotions, and upcoming events.
  • Personalized Assistance: Help guests select appropriate services tailored to their individual preferences.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with wellness practitioners and staff to ensure a smooth client experience and high-quality service delivery.
  • Communication Management: Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls, emails, and messages, addressing client inquiries and feedback.
  • Reception Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception and retail spaces.
  • Service Promotion: Proactively promote spa services, products, and retail items to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
  • Inventory Support: Assist in managing inventory and maintaining appealing retail displays.
  • Preparation and Cleanliness: Support staff in preparing treatment areas and ensuring that all wellness spaces are consistently presentable.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow all operational policies, including those related to health, safety, and sustainability.
  • Daily Operations: Prepare the wellness center for optimal client comfort each day and ensure a smooth closing process.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service, ideally within the wellness or hospitality sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Familiarity with cash handling, POS systems, and booking software.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
