Children's Museum Program Director

Miami Children's Museum seeks a qualified Program Director to oversee the development and implementation of engaging educational programs for children. The successful candidate will have a degree in early childhood education or elementary education, teaching certification, and at least 2 years' experience in teaching or program development.
This role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to think creatively, and a passion for delivering high-quality educational experiences. A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or elementary education is essential, along with a minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or developing educational programs for children under 10 years old.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and lead daily activities aligned with weekly themes, incorporating multimedia elements and scripted skits that link to museum exhibits.
- Manage time effectively for group and individual lesson planning, ensuring seamless execution and meeting deadlines.
- Supervise campers, modeling respect for personal property, cleanliness, sportsmanship, safety, and adherence to rules.
- Communicate regularly with the Camp Manager, addressing concerns or challenges and providing solutions.
