Human Resources Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at the Archdiocese of San Antonio. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful operations of the HR Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and developing and implementing recruitment strategies to fill vacancies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies to support the organization's mission and goals
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise staff in the Human Resources department
- Facilitate and handle employee relations and performance issues, including conducting investigations and advising management on employee grievances
- Develop and manage the Human Resources department budget
- Design and implement training programs and coordinate employee development opportunities
- Manage the daily workflow of the HR department and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; master's degree preferred
- At least five years of human resource management experience required; nonprofit experience preferred
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background check required

Travel requirements for the position include 30% local and 10% non-local travel.
This is a grant-funded position, and salary is dependent on funding availability. The position can be eliminated at any time due to lack of funding to support this position.
