Valve Automation Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Valve Automation Sales Representative to join our team at FloWorks International LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of valve and valve automation products to industrial customers in the Dallas Metroplex and East Texas regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospects to identify new business opportunities and grow revenue.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with customers to discuss their valve and valve automation needs and provide solutions.
- Utilize time management skills to maximize on-site customer visits and develop new revenue opportunities.
- Work closely with customers, manufacturers, and inside sales to find business opportunities, manage quoting activity, and follow orders to completion.
- Track and report sales opportunities in an organized manner.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the team and conduct presentations to various size groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in industrial sales, preferably in valve and valve automation.
- Consultative, need-based solution selling experience is preferred.
- Requires a clean driving record and willingness to spend time over the road visiting customers and attending manufacturer training sessions, with 10-20% overnight travel.
- Basic understanding of time and territory management and CRM tools.
- Systems Used: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet activity, research, Salesforce CRM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing.
- Able to work independently and autonomously and with high emotional intelligence.
- Basic understanding and ability to retain mechanical concepts (Strong Mechanical Aptitude).
