Job Title: House Supervisor RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Supervisor RN to join our team at Trinity Health. As a House Supervisor RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and clinical coordination 24-hours a day, serving as the on-site representative of nursing leadership, department directors, and hospital administration during off shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing leadership, mentoring, feedback, and clinical support to nurses working on Med/Surg, OB, SCU, ER, and OR.
  • Coordinate the clinical care of patients and ensure continuity of care by supervising operational aspects of patient care units in collaboration with department directors and Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing and physicians when necessary.
  • Participate collaboratively with department director in evaluating staff performance.
  • Hold staff accountable to organizational values, standards of practice, and behavior.
Requirements:
  • BSN (or other bachelor's degree) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Iowa.
  • A minimum of two years clinical experience as RN staff nurse. Experience in Med/Surg, ER, SCU, and OB preferred.
