Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of House Supervisor, Nights. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, clinical coordination, and leadership to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing leadership, mentoring, and clinical support to nurses working on Med/Surg, OB, SCU, ER, and OR units.
  • Coordinate clinical care and ensure continuity of patient care by supervising operational aspects of patient care units in collaboration with department directors and Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Participate in evaluating staff performance and hold staff accountable to organizational values, standards of practice, and behavior.
  • Support department directors and actively engage in quality assessment and performance improvement.
  • Attend leadership and other appropriate organizational meetings.
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Iowa.
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience as RN staff nurse, with experience in Med/Surg, ER, SCU, and OB preferred.
  • Documented nursing leadership experience, skills, and behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Professional history of high-level clinical performance, judgment, prioritization, and organization.
