About the Role

Ecolab, a leading provider of premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services, is seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our chemical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing and Blending: Follow standard formulas and procedures to mix and blend chemical batches, ensuring accurate and consistent results.
  • Quality Control: Conduct routine observations of product quality during the mixing and filling process, reporting any out-of-spec raw materials, premixes, or mixed batches to Quality personnel for consultation and adjustment.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate fork trucks, palletizers, scales, pumps, and other material handling equipment to transport raw materials and finished products.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment and machinery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Quality personnel and other team members to ensure seamless production and quality control processes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of previous experience working in a chemical and/or manufacturing environment, with a focus on mixing, blending, and quality control.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of chemistry, excellent attention to detail, ability to read and match numbers on shipping records, labels, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry 50lbs, participate in respirator fitness testing, and pass a drug screen, background check, and physical exam.
