Admissions Team Coordinator

The Internal Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role as the facility's liaison with area hospitals and medical professionals, serving as a vital member of the marketing team and overall team approach.
This position requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public. Key responsibilities include assessment and referral processes, documentation management, and coordination with external facilities and hospitals regarding bed availability.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with software applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word is necessary.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, is required.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:Assessment and Referral Process
The Internal Admissions Coordinator will assess all referrals, communicate with appropriate staff, and coordinate with case managers and online systems regarding pending referrals.
Documentation and Financial ManagementMaintain accurate documentation on all accepted residents, including 3008, PASRR, FL2, and UAI forms. Provide Business Office Manager with all financial documentation prior to admission.
Candidate Communication and CoordinationCoordinate with families and physicians to obtain necessary information for resident admission. Communicate with external facilities and hospitals regarding bed availability.

Compensation:
