Anesthesia Technician FT Position

United Surgical Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Anesthesia Technician FT Position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative oversight of daily billing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with billing coordinators to review current tasks and assignments, and assist in establishing priorities and allocating resources as needed.
  • Identify and quantify operational deficiencies that may be adversely impacting physician billing, and assist in finding solutions to these issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of new charge capture technology to physician practices, and work with FGP consultant, FGP APMs, staff, and vendor to address physician concerns, operational, and IT issues.
  • Attend physician billing meetings, and assist FGP APMs in meeting preparation, including review of billing reports and presenting ad hoc analysis.
  • Monitor weekly charge submission volume, weekly charges posted, daily cash, incomplete charges, denials, collection reports, refunds, etc., and develop a dashboard to track these indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of training and relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of physician billing and coding; CPC preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-physician practice environment.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
