We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Clinic Assistant to join our team at the Houston Humane Society. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to animals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and examinations
- Provide top-notch care to animals, including administering medications and vaccinations
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for animals and staff
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve seamless clinic operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary assistant certification a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Physical stamina to lift patients and equipment up to 30 pounds
- Commitment to the values and mission of the Houston Humane Society
