Job Title: Technical Writer

Xpanse is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for our complex distributed software systems, applications, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for our technology platforms, services, and applications.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, product development, and other IT departments to ensure accurate and functional documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather information and provide documentation.
  • Assist in defining and maintaining technical documentation standards and templates.
  • Collect and apply user feedback to identify areas for documentation improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for complex software applications and services.
  • Experience with Atlassian (Confluence and JIRA) or similar documentation publishing suites.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture patterns and service-oriented architecture principles.
  • Knowledge of information security, compliance, and assurance standards.
  • Knowledge of data management platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of mortgage industry concepts and processes.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud compute, integration, database, storage, security, and management services.
  • Knowledge of web-based single-page applications (SPAs) and native/hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.
