Technical Sales Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our team at QPS Employment Group. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of technical sales experience within design, job shop, machining, or web handling industries, preferably.
This role requires strong communication and customer service skills to find solutions to customer requests, resolving inquiries relating to quotes, technical applications, and manufacturing.
The Technical Sales Representative will prepare cost estimates, negotiate price and payment terms with customers, maintain sales records, and ensure products meet customer needs.
This position will also complete project management duties and assist with all other responsibilities as needed.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with solutions to their requests and questions
- Resolve inquiries relating to quotes, technical applications, and manufacturing
- Prepare cost estimates
- Negotiate price and payment terms with customers
- Maintain sales records
- Ensure products meet customer needs
- Complete project management duties
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering
- 3+ years of Technical Sales experience, within design, job shop, machining, or web handling industries preferred
- Proficient experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Solid Works
- Experience with Windows-based computer applications
- Excellent technical aptitude with a strong understanding of engineering concepts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
