Position Overview

As a Senior Wealth Management Consultant, you will serve as the key liaison and trusted financial guide for affluent clients. Your role will involve fostering, enhancing, and expanding client relationships, while also strategizing and resolving intricate financial matters. You will collaborate with the client's other advisors, such as legal and tax professionals, to implement comprehensive wealth management solutions. A solid understanding of trust administration and estate planning is essential, and The Ladders will provide a professional environment that encourages continuous skill development and career advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Acquire a deep understanding of the client's complete financial and familial landscape. Build a foundation of trust and confidence to address financial challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external resources to achieve estate and financial planning objectives for existing clients through integrated wealth management strategies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to comprehend, apply, and communicate estate and financial planning concepts to clients while managing complex accounts.
  • Review and contribute to the creation of tax, estate, and financial analyses and plans. Work alongside other planning specialists on specific topics and assist in acquiring new clients.
  • Attract and retain affluent clients through existing networks, professional connections, prospecting, and referrals.
  • Engage with other professional advisors of clients to support comprehensive planning needs.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A bachelor's degree is required; advanced degrees such as JD, CFP, CTFA, or CPA are preferred. Additional qualifications like a Master's degree or relevant certifications are advantageous. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar or related field is required.
  • Ability to cultivate productive relationships with both internal and external partners to enhance access to resources and expertise.
  • Proficient in identifying and fulfilling client needs while maintaining a collaborative relationship.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand decision-making processes and to evaluate situations accurately for effective decision-making.
  • Knowledge of methodologies and tools for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational or operational challenges; ability to apply this knowledge to various scenarios.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
