Job Title: Senior Transportation Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Planner to join our team at GHD Group. As a Senior Transportation Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of transportation in Northern California.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Transportation Group, where you will be involved in a variety of projects, including complete streets, corridor studies, active transportation, and safe routes to school. You will have the opportunity to work with our engineers, landscape architects, and digital analysts to develop plans that are implementable and meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex planning projects, including investigation, analysis, and preparation of public-facing documents and client deliverables
  • Apply data analysis, site assessment, design concepts, and community engagement best practices in transportation planning
  • Develop and lead community engagement activities to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement transportation plans that meet our clients' needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Community, City, or Regional Planning, or equivalent related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of transportation planning experience
