Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Waupaca, WI

Role Overview: As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our state-of-the-art facility. Your expertise in electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance will be essential in performing repairs and supporting various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete safety training and adhere to departmental safety policies.
  • Engage in the 6-S Program for effective housekeeping.
  • Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs) effectively.
  • Make necessary electrical adjustments to machinery for optimal performance.
  • Conduct conduit work, wiring, troubleshooting, machine repairs, panel building, and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education or equivalent experience in an electrical-related field.
  • Willingness to work on 2nd or 3rd shifts.
  • Proven solid work history with good oral communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable, responsible, and possess a positive work attitude.
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in conduit bending, hydraulics, pneumatics, project layout, troubleshooting, open/closed loop control, robotic troubleshooting/programming, electrical schematics, and welding.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Associates Degree in Electrical, Military, Industrial field, or equivalent experience.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a selection process including interviews, aptitude tests, reference verification, pre-employment drug screening, physical assessments, and job function tests.
