Job Summary
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, ensuring the personal needs and comforts of patients are met. The Medical Assistant must understand the needs of the practice and support the mission and values of WakeMed.

Responsibilities
• Perform specific services in caring for patients' personal needs and comforts
• Work interdependently with other medical professionals to provide quality patient care
• Support the mission and values of WakeMed
• Maintain required registration/certification (American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants, or National Center for Competency Testing)

Requirements
• 2 Years Clinical - Medical Assistant experience preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required - Graduate Medical Assisting preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required within 24 months of hire

Work Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm
No weekends or call requirements
