We are in search of a proactive and motivated individual to take on the role of Process Improvement Engineer in the United States. Only candidates authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tackle technical challenges associated with equipment in accordance with process specifications, enhance and refine process machinery, identify root causes of discrepancies, establish and execute corrective and preventive measures, and introduce new or alternative equipment as necessary.
  • Oversee or direct system modification requests related to validated equipment or systems.
  • Prepare essential documentation/packages for process machinery and cleaning systems in preparation for regulatory inspections or audits.
  • Offer engineering support for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in newly established facilities.
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for process systems to ensure optimal reliability.
  • Guarantee the efficiency and readiness of process machinery and systems for uninterrupted operations.
  • Assist in creating procedures for the operation and maintenance of process equipment.
  • Lead or assist in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and qualification activities for new or modified systems.
  • Provide critical support for harvesting equipment, including tanks, centrifuges, harvest filtration skids, cleaning apparatus, and other auxiliary systems such as Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-out-of-Place (COP).
  • Conduct all tasks in accordance with established regulatory standards, safety protocols, and sound engineering practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in process engineering and capital expenditure (CAPEX) within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in upstream/downstream bioprocesses and associated equipment is essential.
  • Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Mass Balances, and the capability to perform engineering calculations.
  • Strong technical writing skills are required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access.
