Job Overview

This position emphasizes the integration of welding and manufacturing engineering to support both daily operations and project initiatives tailored to client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In this capacity, you will oversee daily welding functions by leveraging your engineering acumen to assess process performance, identify and rectify defects, conduct quality assurance activities, and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Your role will involve the assessment, application, and development of intricate welding standards in accordance with industry benchmarks and client needs.
  • You will be tasked with formulating reliable and repeatable joining methodologies for high-precision components utilizing various welding techniques, including Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Laser Beam Welding (LBW), and Brazing.
  • Additionally, you will create and sustain weld qualification documentation, welding procedure specifications, and operational guidelines as required.
  • Success in this role necessitates the ability to effectively convey technical information and provide training to colleagues and clients as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and communication abilities, demonstrate resourcefulness, creativity, and initiative, and hold a bachelor's degree in welding, metallurgy, materials science, mechanical engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution, or have equivalent technical experience.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates with a minimum of three (3) years of pertinent experience in welding engineering or related metal processing roles.
