We are seeking a highly skilled Signal Integrity/Power Integrity Engineer to join our team at Tesla. As a key member of our Silicon Development Group, you will play a critical role in designing and developing next-generation SOCs and car computers for our self-driving system.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop SOC packages, PCBs, and systems with optimized power integrity and signal integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors on high-speed interconnect design, including advanced packaging, connectors, sockets, and cables
- Work with power supply design engineers and vendors to bring up power supply modules and characterize their electrical performance
- Develop and execute test plans to validate system-level and component-level signal and power integrity
- Relevant degree in a field such as electrical engineering or computer science
- Relevant product design and validation experience
- Solid understanding of system and package-level SI and PI, electromagnetic theory
- Prior design and SI/PI modeling experience with high-speed serial interfaces, memory interfaces, and power integrity analysis
