Private Equity Associate Opportunity

Blacklock Financial is partnering with a leading Consumer focused Private Equity firm to find a talented Associate to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth industry and company research to identify potential investment targets and opportunities for growth.
  • Evaluate investment prospects through detailed financial modeling, including discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout modeling, and comparable company analysis.
  • Support due diligence efforts, including management interviews, site visits, and financial analysis to ensure a thorough understanding of the investment opportunity.
  • Develop and present investment memos and presentations to internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex ideas and strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to negotiate and structure transactions, ensuring successful deal execution.
  • Monitor and track portfolio company performance, providing ongoing support and strategic guidance to drive value creation.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, with a passion for investing and driving value creation.
