Tax Senior Manager Job Description

**About the Role**

As a Tax Senior Manager at Forvis, you will play a key role in helping successful companies and their owners navigate complex tax strategies and grow their businesses. You will work closely with others to plan for the future, coordinate tax strategies, and provide authentic support to your teammates and clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations in various industries
* Develop and manage client relationships, helping to build and maintain strong partnerships
* Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
* Review returns prepared by tax associates and seniors, ensuring accuracy and quality
* Effectively delegate responsibilities to others, monitoring the efforts of engagement teams
* Utilize technology tools to improve work processes and deliver high-quality results
* Research complex tax issues, apply findings to projects, and communicate those findings in writing

**Requirements**

We are looking for individuals with forward vision and a strong sense of ownership for delivering ultra-responsive client service. Key qualifications include:

* 7+ years of related experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments
* Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
* CPA license

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree
* Partnership tax experience
