The Ceshker Group is a title office with its principal office located in Austin, TX. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Escrow Closing Assistant to join our team. This role requires full-time work, Monday through Friday, with some overtime required.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description:

We require two years of recent experience in Texas as an Escrow Assistant or Junior Escrow Officer at a law firm or title office. Responsibilities include some knowledge of the front, middle, and back end of escrow, complete funding tasks such as ensuring all funds are disbursed accurately, and comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders.
  • Adhere to all terms and conditions of the purchase agreement and monitor the progress of all assigned files.
  • Interact and coordinate with industry contacts such as realtors, loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers.
  • Ensure all terms and conditions of the assigned closing tasks are being completed timely and accurately.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; prior relevant experience or college degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience with residential sales, REO, refinance, short sale escrow, or commercial closings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of title insurance and the associated processes.
