Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Sales Executive to lead our commercial and multifamily renovation sales efforts. This role is ideal for a driven individual with a strong understanding of the construction industry, specifically in multifamily and commercial renovations.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development
    • Lead Generation
      • Attend industry conferences and events to cultivate relationships with potential clients
      • Leverage online platforms to identify new sales opportunities
      • Develop targeted outreach campaigns to reach key decision-makers
    • Market Expansion
      • Identify untapped market segments or geographical areas for expansion
      • Create tailored value propositions for different client types
      • Establish partnerships with complementary businesses
    • Cultivate Client Relationships
      • Regularly engage with clients through personalized communication
      • Offer insights on industry trends and potential property improvements
      • Host or sponsor client appreciation events
  • Client Acquisition and Management
    • Relationship Building
      • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, investors, and regional property management companies
    • Needs Assessments
      • Schedule on-site visits to understand property conditions and challenges
      • Conduct thorough needs assessments, including interviewing key decision-makers and analyzing historical property data
    • Tailored Renovation Solutions
      • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized renovation packages
      • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations highlighting ROI and value-add
    • Negotiation and Contracting
      • Negotiate and secure sales contracts
      • Guide clients through the contract process, addressing concerns proactively
  • Market Intelligence
    • Trend Monitoring
      • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor pricing, and marketing strategies
      • Attend industry conferences and webinars to stay informed on emerging trends
    • Product and Technology Research
      • Research innovative materials and construction techniques
      • Evaluate new property management technologies
      • Assess the potential impact of smart home/building technologies on renovation projects
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Liaison Role
      • Facilitate initial meetings between clients and internal teams
      • Translate client requirements into actionable project specifications
    • Pricing and Special Arrangements
      • Work with estimating team on pricing strategies
      • Communicate market intelligence to inform pricing decisions
    • Feedback and Continuous Improvement
      • Relay client feedback to internal teams
      • Collaborate with marketing team to develop case studies based on successful projects

Qualifications:

  • Driven and persistent, not shy
  • Proven sales experience in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily and commercial renovations
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
