Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

We are in search of a committed and enthusiastic Chemistry Educator who possesses a robust understanding of chemical principles and a genuine passion for teaching. The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting dynamic lesson plans, facilitating hands-on experiments, and nurturing a supportive educational atmosphere for learners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute lesson plans that align with educational standards and the institution's curriculum.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students' comprehension of essential chemical concepts.
  • Evaluate student performance through various assessments, including tests, quizzes, and assignments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and their guardians regarding academic achievements and areas needing improvement.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Remain informed about the latest advancements in the field of chemistry and integrate them into teaching methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline (Master's degree is preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license/conditional license in Maryland.
  • Prior experience teaching chemistry at the secondary education level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their highest potential.
