Chemistry Teacher Job Description

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a qualified Chemistry Teacher to work at a facility in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to help students understand key chemical concepts.
  • Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and assignments.
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate them into teaching practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification/license/conditional license in Maryland.
  • Previous experience teaching chemistry at the high school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
