Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Pathway Group. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing payroll for hourly and salaried employees, as well as performing other related tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison with ADP to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and manual payroll checks for both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Organize and maintain payroll transaction information, including Time & Attendance data and Time Off records.
  • Calculate payroll and verify totals to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain records and reports for safekeeping, including cash transactions and payroll-related receipts and disbursements.
  • Verify the accuracy of employee accrued vacation hours and record adjustments as needed.
  • Process bi-weekly and periodic funding of the company's 401(k) Plan.
  • Ensure timely payments to various taxing authorities.
  • Set up and maintain employee garnishments.
  • Reconcile quarterly and annual reports.
  • Establish and maintain audit trail from gross wages to quarterly and annual tax filings.
Requirements
  • Proficient knowledge of all federal and State regulations regarding the processing of payroll, payroll taxes, and employee benefits.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interface effectively with others inside and outside of the Accounting department.
  • Team oriented and flexible with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
