Government Affairs Strategist

Vantive, a new company built on Baxter's legacy, is revolutionizing kidney care and other vital organ support. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in shaping and implementing strategies to direct state legislative and regulatory activities and grow our political action committee.
Key Responsibilities- Benchmark our PAC with other similar sized companies to set fundraising goals.
- Manage the governance of the PAC via the PAC Board.
- Set fundraising targets and initiate fundraising campaigns.
- Manage compliance and reporting requirements associated with the PAC.
- Manage reporting requirements associated with lobbying reports.
- Oversee disbursements and the upkeep of banking information related to the PAC.
- Identify and engage with key partners, policymakers, and regulatory bodies at the state level.
- Track legislative and regulatory developments that may impact our operations.
- Monitor developments that impact the organization at state legislatures and at the relevant state agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience (3+ years) in government affairs, PAC operations, public policy, or related fields.
- Familiarity with U.S. political and regulatory environments.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.

We strive to be more transparent with our pay practices and offer equitable pay for all employees. The estimated base salary for this position is $112,000 to $168,000 annually.
