About the Role

Vantive, a new company built on Baxter's legacy, is revolutionizing kidney care and other vital organ support. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in shaping and implementing strategies to direct state legislative and regulatory activities and grow our political action committee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benchmark our PAC with other similar sized companies to set fundraising goals.
  • Manage the governance of the PAC via the PAC Board.
  • Set fundraising targets and initiate fundraising campaigns.
  • Manage compliance and reporting requirements associated with the PAC.
  • Manage reporting requirements associated with lobbying reports.
  • Oversee disbursements and the upkeep of banking information related to the PAC.
  • Identify and engage with key partners, policymakers, and regulatory bodies at the state level.
  • Track legislative and regulatory developments that may impact our operations.
  • Monitor developments that impact the organization at state legislatures and at the relevant state agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience (3+ years) in government affairs, PAC operations, public policy, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with U.S. political and regulatory environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
