The role of a Customer Service Representative encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at delivering exceptional service and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Operating the cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and transactions
- Completing end-of-shift reports
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store (including windows, floors, and restrooms)
- Restocking shelves and coolers as needed
- Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping
- Conducting inventory checks for fuel supplies
- Receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers
- Managing outdoor maintenance tasks (e.g., sweeping, shoveling, painting)
- Performing light maintenance on equipment (e.g., pumps and lighting)
- Assisting with merchandising efforts
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by management
- Communicating effectively with team members and customers
- Accurately completing necessary paperwork
- Adhering to the store uniform policy
- Availability for shifts during weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Reliable transportation is required
- Attendance at mandatory training sessions is expected
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of items weighing 1 to 15 lbs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Capability to reach above shoulder height and bend below the waist
- Must be able to navigate all areas of the store freely
- Ability to move quickly throughout the store
