Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and promote a culture of collaboration and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and best practices in addiction treatment and recovery
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in New York State
  • BLS certification, with ACLS or other certification as required by department
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical risk and ability to maintain a safe and respectful environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members
Preferred Qualifications
  • Buprenorphine waiver (DATA 2000) or ability to obtain within first three months of employment
  • National certification in nurse practitioner specialty (ANCC, AACP or NAPNAP)
  • Clinical experience providing treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Experience working in addiction inpatient, rehabilitation, and/or residential environments
  • Strong problem-solving, conceptual, analytical, and communication skills
