Key Responsibilities- Support Technicians with Parts Logistics: Assist technicians with parts and tool logistics runs during their shift, ensuring timely delivery and availability of necessary materials.
- Vendor Management: Work closely with parts and tool vendors to resupply technicians, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
- Data Quality Check: Perform data quality checks for assigned inbound and outbound repair orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of parts information.
- Van Utilization and Technician Efficiency: Collaborate with the regional team and business leaders to communicate and impact van utilization and technician efficiency, driving process improvements and cost savings.
- Entry-Level Service Work: Perform entry-level service work on fleet vehicles under the guidance of senior technicians, developing your skills and expertise in automotive repairs.
- Vehicle Shuttle Services: Shuttle vehicles from and to customers, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records on RepairSmith Fleet to ensure proper vehicle maintenance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a driver or porter is preferred but not required.
- Driving Skills: Ability to drive Sprinter/Transit/Ram ProMaster/Freightliner step vans.
- Clean Driving Record: Clean and valid driver's license.
- Interest in Automotive Repairs: Interest in automotive repairs and customer service.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work late shifts and adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with customers and other operators.
