Job Summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Level 3 - CT Scan Specialist. This is a supervisory role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to oversee the delivery of radiological services in our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the delivery of radiological services, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Recommend changes and improvements to enhance the delivery of radiological services.
  • Develop and implement training programs for radiographic personnel, ancillary staff, and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including diagnostic and interventional radiography, such as CT scans, MRI, and mammography.
  • Represent the department in interdepartmental operations and meetings, coordinating activities with other departments and services.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including equipment maintenance and supply procurement.
  • Conduct research and participate in special projects to evaluate equipment and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience, with one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Advanced level certification for specialized imaging procedures, such as CT scans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified in CT by ARRT.
  • Certified in Contrast Media by DOH.
