Role Summary and Responsibilities


The Certified Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care in alignment with departmental standards and state regulations.

As an essential member of the healthcare team, you will:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluation of breath sounds and airway integrity.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to determine the necessity and effectiveness of respiratory treatments.
  • Administer various respiratory therapies, such as oxygen therapy and aerosol medications.
  • Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patient responses to therapies and communicate with healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Support the safe transportation of patients requiring ventilatory assistance.
  • Respond to emergency situations, ensuring airway management and adequate ventilation.

Qualifications


No travel is required for this position, and prior experience is not mandatory.
