Job Summary:

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a critical, non-critical, and chronically ill setting. You will work under the direction of a physician with minimal supervision, performing patient assessments, and instituting respiratory care plans. Your technical skills will be utilized in various areas of the hospital, including emergency care, wound care, and hyperbaric center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in Code Blue and White responses
• Manage airways, including nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning
• Deliver aerosolized drugs
• Set up and operate ventilators
• Perform oral hygiene and airway retaining device placement and maintenance
• Manage airway support devices, including BiPAP and CPAP devices
• Deliver oxygen therapy and monitor therapeutic levels
• Analyze chest films and blood gas collections
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys

Requirements:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• RT or RCP License in state of employment required
• BLS certification

Work Schedule:

7PM - 7AM

Per Diem As Needed
