We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our float pool in Brooklyn, NY. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapeutic and biologic agents, as well as supportive care medications as prescribed by a physician. You will also play a vital role in recognizing and treating cancer-related and treatment-related issues, monitoring and charting vital signs, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer chemotherapeutic and biologic agents, as well as supportive care medications as prescribed by a physician.
  • Recognize and treat cancer-related and treatment-related issues.
  • Monitor and chart vital signs, document in the medication administration record.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.
  • Participate in cancer research trials, administering medications per protocol.

Requirements:
  • Valid New York State RN License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending, and reaching.
