At New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, we are seeking a dedicated Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in alignment with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where expert oncologists, hematologists, and compassionate staff collaborate to provide cutting-edge treatments and innovative research. As a Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.

Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
  • At least one year of experience in Oncology/Hematology is helpful but not required.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with EMR is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is preferred.
