**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Nurse to join our team at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. This is a full-time position that involves working 4 ten-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and chart vital signs, documenting medication administration in patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to share expertise and promote quality patient care
  • Provide supportive resources to patients and caregivers to promote health and wellness
  • Educate patients and caregivers about follow-up care and emergency procedures

Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending, and reaching
  • Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs
  • Starting salary: $61 per hour, based on experience
