Join the Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System team as a Clinical Quality Specialist. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating clinical quality initiatives in the Outpatient, Inpatient, and Emergency Departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Enhance the current Quality Management process in the Inpatient, Out Patient, and Emergency Department.
- Work closely with the Quality Management Staff in planning, organizing and directing clinical quality operations and activities within the Inpatient, Out Patient, and Emergency Department.
- Analyze data related to quality indicators in these areas.
- Implement process changes based on the data.
- Perform concurrent and closed chart reviews as needed.
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred and one year proven experience as a Case Manager or Utilization Review or combination of education and applicable experience.
- Must possess a valid full and unrestricted Professional license as a Registered Nurse in any state of the United States of America, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate easily to both patient and providers.
Normal to light office work which includes the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone, and various office equipment.
