Position Summary:
As an Automotive Guest Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a superior customer experience while supporting the sales of our automotive repair services and tires. Your ability to engage with customers and provide knowledgeable assistance will directly contribute to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive training to effectively execute the Tire Choice sales process.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, both over the phone and in-store, by welcoming them, scheduling appointments, and addressing their needs.
- Assist in various customer care tasks, including work order completion and register operations, under the guidance of management.
- Maintain organization and productivity within the service area, ensuring efficient estimate and invoice transactions.
- Act as a secondary key carrier, responsible for essential opening and closing duties.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service issues.
- Effectively communicate the full range of products and services offered by Tire Choice to customers.
- Collaborate with management to uphold a safe and compliant work environment.
- Ensure a clean and organized customer waiting area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid Driver's License is necessary.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in a related automotive service role.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately document sales orders and explain services clearly.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities.
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending and twisting.
- Comfortable climbing ladders to access merchandise.
- Effective communication skills, both in person and via telephone.
- Proficient in entering and locating information on a computer.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely.
