Job Title: Lot Attendant/Porter

At Doherty Automotive Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant/Porter to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized New and Used Vehicle area, Service Department, Body Shop, and Customer drive-through area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the New and Used Vehicle lots, Service Department, Body Shop, and Customer drive-through area.
  • Move vehicles as directed by management and in accordance with facility display standards.
  • Clean interior and exterior of vehicles, including trunks and glove compartments.
  • Police the grounds of the dealership.
  • Complete OSHA right-to-know training and all other training as directed by supervisor.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Wear company-approved uniform.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Ability to use personal computer applications.
  • General mechanical skills and manual dexterity.
  • Good judgment.
  • Current valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. You will frequently be required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools. You must be able to lift 40 pounds of material. You will frequently work near moving mechanical parts and be potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle repair facility. You will also frequently be exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
