The Department of Chemistry at Penn State University is inviting exceptional candidates to apply for a tenure-line faculty role. Applicants for the Associate Professor role must demonstrate scholarly excellence and a solid reputation in their area of expertise. Responsibilities will encompass a blend of teaching, research, and service, tailored to the candidate's qualifications.

For the Professor position, candidates must showcase a history of distinguished scholarship and research in a relevant field, with evidence of significant advanced research contributions and leadership within their specialization. Responsibilities will similarly involve a combination of teaching, research, and service, aligned with the candidate's qualifications.

The Department of Chemistry at Penn State provides a dynamic environment conducive to innovative research across both traditional and interdisciplinary domains. This includes access to a state-of-the-art 177,000 square foot chemistry research facility, excellent shared instrumentation resources, and opportunities for collaboration with various institutes focused on life sciences, materials research, energy, and computational sciences.
